Showers will continue intermittently, particularly southeast of I-35, where we expect the heaviest rainfall. We'll have one round of rain in the morning hours before we dry out in the afternoon. Another round of showers and storms move in this evening.
There is a slight chance of storms becoming strong, with a greater likelihood of severe storms developing to the south from Sunday evening and also Monday evening.
Showers and storms stick around into the start of the work week. Scattered showers pushing through Tuesday with temperatures near seasonable. Some areas locally could see an additional 2-4" of rainfall by the end of it.
We will dry out briefly for the second half of Tuesday through Thursday afternoon before another low pressure system rolls in bringing additional round of showers and storms to northeast Kansas.
