14-year-old dead in Crawford County ATV crash

BUCYRUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A 14-year-old boy is dead after an ATV crash Saturday night in Crawford County.

The Sherriff's Office said deputies were called to a crash at 7:12 p.m. on State Route 96 in Liberty Township. They received reports an ATV, driven by the 14-year-old with two passengers, crashed and rolled over, causing two of the occupants to eject from the vehicle, per the sheriff's office.

The two passengers had minor injuries but the 14-year-old driver was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Crawford County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the crash.
