Inside Trump’s star-studded election night in Mar-a-Lago mansion with Elon Musk joining ranks as they wait for results

DONALD Trump is expected to host an exclusive star-studded evening with donors – including tech billionaire Elon Musk – at his Palm Beach club on election night.

The Tesla CEO will reportedly be part of a small group who will await the election results with Trump at the presidential candidate’s Mar-a-Lago beach resort.

Musk has been a key figure in Trump’s attempt at a second White House term, with the tech billionaire joining the presidential nominee at several campaign stops before November 5.

The X owner, who voiced his support for Trump’s candidacy following the July 13 attempted assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, has also invested over $119 million in his super PAC backing the former president.

Musk’s fierce support of the Republican presidential nominee has seemingly landed him a spot at Trump election night watch party, according to The New York Times.

The former president will host several get-togethers of differing exclusivity, insiders with knowledge of the schedule told the outlet.

One of the exclusive events will be a dinner with a small number of Trump’s donors at Mar-a-Lago.

Musk will be part of this exclusive crowd who will watch the returns with Trump as they come in throughout the night.

Trump is also expected to be joined by Nigel Farage – the British MP and leader of the Reform Party.

In a video shared online, Farage said: “It’s all happening here in Palm Beach.

“We’re just about to cross the bridge and I’m on my way to Mar-a-Lago.”

Trump, who capped off his campaign in Michigan on Tuesday at around 2 am before hopping on a jet and landing in Florida at around 5:30 am, will then have an even smaller gathering for those who will accompany him throughout the evening.

Trump will close out election night by addressing a large group, including other donors and financial backers, at the Palm Beach Convention Center, according to The New York Times.

It comes as…

  • Voting hours were extended in multiple states after voters endured delays due to technical issues and bomb threats.
  • Vice President-nominee JD Vance voted Tuesday morning at a Catholic church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Trump returned to Florida, where he and Melania cast their votes in the election.
  • Trump is expected to hold an election night watch party at his Mar-a-Lago beach club resort.
  • Harris is making a final push on Election Day as she appeared as a guest in seven radio interviews, one in each swing state.
  • Harris will hold an election night watch party at her alma mater, Howard University in Washington DC, where she will be joined by her running mate, Tim Walz.

Trump and Musk have become an unlikely close political pair since the SpaceX founder endorsed the former president’s campaign in July.

Musk’s super PAC made headlines for its controversial $1 million daily giveaway, which a Pennsylvania judge probed as a potentially illegal lottery violating state voting laws.

The pro-Trump political group gave $1 million daily to a randomly selected registered voter in a swing state.

However, Judge Angelo Foglietta rejected arguments by Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner and allowed the daily sweepstakes to continue.

But, the cash giveaway was set to end on Election Day despite the judge’s ruling.

Musk’s firey MAGA support has not been limited to his super PAC, as the Tesla boss even appeared on stage at a Trump rally.

The billionaire has even held his own rallies in Pennsylvania, one of the seven battleground states, to help boost Trump’s poll numbers in the state.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump's relationship

Former president Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk's relationship started rocky, but the pair have since seemed to become close friends and political partners.

In 2022, the pair publically feuded on X after Trump called Musk a liar at a rally.

The duo have since come a long way from that incident as the tech entrepreneur has openly backed Trump in the 2024 election.

Musk’s support has seen him pump huge sums of money behind the Republican candidate.

The Tesla boss has given $118 million to his super PAC.

This political group has handed out $1 million each day to a random registered voter in one of the seven swing states.

Musk has also appeared on stage with Trump at rallies and held his own election events.

HARRIS & WALZ WATCH PARTY

Meanwhile, as an ever-confident Trump delivered his final statements to reporters in Palm Beach, Vice President Kamala Harris worked the airwaves in all seven swing states.

Harris called into three radio stations in Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona on Tuesday morning.

The Democratic presidential nominee told an Atlanta radio station that she focused on “making sure everybody knows the power of their voice through their vote.”

“I think this is an inflection point in terms of this is the moment where we have two very different visions of the future of our nation,” she said in an interview with The Big Tigger Morning Show.

“I’ve just been so focused on the task in front of me, the reflection has only been about making sure that I’m responding to the needs of folks around the policies.”

Harris will host an election night watch party at her alma mater, Howard University in Washington DC, where she will be joined by her campaign staff, constituents, and her running mate, Tim Walz, and his family.

POLL SITES CHAOS

As the candidates await the election to be certified, Americans nationwide were plagued with issues that prevented voters from casting their ballots.

In Pennsylvania’s Cambria County, polls will stay open until 10 pm after a software malfunction blocked voters from submitting their ballots.

Dozens of voters flocked to locations as soon as polls opened. In two battleground states, photos showed dozens of voters waiting in line at polling sites in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, and Smyrna, Georgia, about 17 miles northwest of Atlanta.

In Georgia, two polling locations were briefly disrupted by “non-credible” bomb threats, which Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said stemmed from Russia.

“They’re up to mischief, it seems,” Raffensperger said about the Russians.

“They don’t want us to have a smooth, fair, and accurate election.”

The FBI said it was aware of bomb threats made at several polling places in multiple states.

The threats, which originated from a Russian email address, were deemed not credible by federal officials.

Also, in the Peach State, a Cobb County judge extended the voting hours by 20 minutes at two precincts that opened late on Election Day morning, according to Bloomberg News.

Mount Paran Church of God and Kell High School polls will close at 7:20 pm.

In Gwinnett County, a judge ruled that a pair of poll sites, Mountain Park Activity Building and Stone Mountain, will extend their voting hours by 58 minutes.
