Joy Behar: I'm 'nauseously optimistic' that Harris will win
Joy Behar says she's "nauseously optimistic" that Vice President Harris will win her White House bid against former President Trump.
"Whatever happens, I feel like we're in a very historic moment," Behar said Tuesday on ABC's "The View" as Americans headed to the polls for Election Day.
"You either will have the first woman president or a convicted felon. So it's historic in that way," Behar cracked, taking a swipe at Trump.
Trump was convicted in May on 34 counts of falsifying business records in a New York hush money case.
"The View" co-host, a frequent and vocal critic of Trump, said that "the women in this country are embarrassed for him."
"So the way I'm optimistic is because I believe in the American woman," Behar, 82, said.
"And a lot of the guys, too," she added.
Polls show a tight race between Harris and Trump, with both national and swing-state surveys essentially deadlocked.
