Radu Dragusin’s agent reacts to latest round of Spurs exit rumours
Radu Dragusin’s agent, Florian Manea, who has a reputation for being very outspoken, is once again addressing the latest round of speculation over the Tottenham man’s future.
Transfer rumours continue
Radu Dragusin came into the starting eleven and delivered a solid display in Tottenham‘s Carabao Cup win over Manchester City on Wednesday but that has not stopped the speculation over his future. His superb showing against Aston Villa will also surely only add fuel to the flames.
The latest club to reportedly enter the race for the 22-year-old is his former side, Juventus, who have allegedly set their sights on the Spurs man after learning that Gleison Bremer will be out for the rest of the season.
Curiously, TuttoSport and other outlets have claimed that the Bianconeri will look to sign the Romanian on loan and that Spurs might be open to such a deal.
Florian Manea addresses Juve speculation
Manea has now once again come out and dismissed those transfer rumours, revealing that Juve have not made any contact with his client. Dragusin’s agent also made it clear that the defender is happy at the North London club and is focused on doing well for Spurs.
When asked about the former Genoa man potentially returning to Juve, Manea told TuttoJuve: “He’s coming off a great match against Manchester City, now he’s focused on the rest of the season. He wants to do well with Tottenham.
“I learn about it from the Italian newspapers, I honestly don’t know anything about it (transfer rumours.) With Juventus As far as I’m concerned, there have been no contacts. As always, the final say in these cases will be up to the club he belongs to, but the boy is happy here at Tottenham.”
Radu Dragusin will have a key role
Now that it has been confirmed that Micky van de Ven will be out until the international break, Dragusin is set to start the next three games for Spurs.
It would be the first time that the centre-back has had a run in the starting eleven since his switch from Genoa, and he will be keen to show Postecoglou that he can be relied upon.
