Tague wins New York's 102nd Assembly District

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Chris Tague has won the 102nd District of the State Assembly. The Associated Press has called the race for Tague over Democrat Janet Tweed.

Tague's key issues focused on expanding broadband access, reducing taxes, supporting local farmers, and more. His leadership experience led him to be elected Schoharie Town Supervisor in 2015.

Tague graduated from the Schoharie Central School District. After graduating in 1987, he ran a dairy farm until he sold the business in 1992. Tague began as a foreman and was promoted to General Manager of Cobleskill Stone Products before retiring in 2018 to work as a full-time Assemblyman.

District 102 covers Greene and Schoharie Counties and parts of Delaware, Albany, Otsego, and Ulster Counties. Tweed's goals included affordable and accessible health care, quality of life, and sustainability.
