Trump Is Telling Us Exactly How He Feels About Women
Throughout his presidential campaign, Donald Trump has claimed to have women’s best interests in mind — whether we “like it or not.” Of course, he has done this while hurling misogynistic attacks at his opponent and obfuscating his stance on an abortion ban. In an election in which one candidate is an accused sex offender and reproductive rights hang in the balance, Trump and his most public supporters have spent the days leading up to the election making their disgust for women even more apparent.
During an October 31 campaign event in Arizona, Trump conjured a violent hypothetical about one of his vocal critics, Dick Cheney’s daughter Liz Cheney. “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay?” he said, when Tucker Carlson asked him if it felt “weird” to face opposition from the daughter of a former Republican vice-president. “Let’s see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face.” Amid backlash — including a response from Cheney, who called Trump a “petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man” — Trump’s campaign claimed the candidate was “clearly describing a combat zone” and did not “suggest War Hawk Liz Cheney be put in front of a ‘firing squad,’ be ‘executed,’ or be ‘shot.’”
Meanwhile, at the end of October, Elon Musk’s pro-Trump super-PAC released an ad calling Harris a “big ole C-word,” before punnily revealing the word to be communist. The ad, which was reportedly taken down, also briefly showed a cat in a Soviet-looking uniform.
Elon Musk’s America PAC releases an ad. It accuses Presidential candidate Kamala Harris of being a “C Word.” Get it? “A Tax-Hiking, Regulation-Loving, Gun-Grabbing Communist.” Ah okay THAT “C Word,” but wait, the other one too. On Monday, Trump and JD Vance closed out their campaign with even more vile language directed toward women. In Atlanta, Vance dropped his supposed midwestern politeness to tell a crowd that he and Trump were going to “take out the trash, and the trash’s name is Kamala Harris.” Meanwhile, Trump fantasized about having Harris face off with Mike Tyson. “Oh, he says put Mike in the ring with Kamala,” Trump mused, responding to a shout from the crowd during a Reading, Pennsylvania, rally. “That would be interesting.” Shortly afterward, he popped up in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he claimed Michelle Obama had “hit” him by insulting him. “Am I allowed to hit her now?” he claims he asked his advisers, adding, “I’d actually love to hit back.”

A few hours later, during his final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he stopped just short of calling Nancy Pelosi a bitch. “She’s an evil, sick, crazy b- - - -” he said, exaggeratedly refraining from saying the full word out loud. “It starts with a B, but I won’t say it,” he jeered. “I wanna say it.”

At the same rally in Pennsylvania, Megyn Kelly — who once confronted Trump about calling women “fat pigs,” prompting him to ask if she had “blood coming out of her wherever” — delivered a speech endorsing the candidate. “He will be a protector of women,” she proclaimed. Has she listened to a word he’s said?
