'Flashing light': CNN anchor flags blaring warning sign for Harris after Georgia race call

0

As a second domino fell to former President Donald Trump late Tuesday, CNN anchors called it "very, very bad news" for Vice President Kamala Harris and pointed to a "flashing light" that spelled doom for her in a critical battleground state.

As CNN projected a Trump win in Georgia, Dana Bash delivered a grim assessment of Harris' chances.

"They're still insisting that it is possible," she said, referring to the Harris campaign. "But this is, again, very, very bad news for Kamala Harris."

Fellow anchor Chris Wallace noted that exit polls showed a glaring warning sign.

"Back in 2020, Biden won women by seven points more than Trump won men," he said.

This time around, it was even.

"Harris won women by 10 points, Trump won men by 10 points," he said.

Wallace then pointed to an exit poll that "just stands out."

"Sort of a flashing light," he said, mimicking a device with his hands. "Hispanics. Biden won Hispanics four years ago by 32 points. As of tonight, Harris has won Hispanics by eight points."

Bash emphasized that with the Georgia call, Harris must win Pennsylvania.

"If she doesn't win Pennsylvania it's over," she said.
