Diego, Lytle lead in Sausalito Marin City School District board race

Danielle Diego and Rebecca Lytle took the top spots in the four-way race for two seats on the Sausalito Marin City School District board of trustees in preliminary totals on election night.

With 100% of precincts reporting, Diego had 40.27% of the votes and Lytle had 38.85%. They were followed by Sara Canson, with 13.24%, and Lester Parham, with 7.64%.

Diego and Lytle will fill the seats to be vacated by trustees Lisa Bennett and Alena Maunder, who declined to seek reelection.
