Ross Valley School District incumbents lead board race
Rachel Litwack, was leading with 28.77%, or 3,670 votes, followed by Shelley Hamilton with 26.90%, or 3,431 votes, and Daniel Cassidy with 23.93%, or 3,052 votes, in the Ross Valley School District race, according to preliminary results on Tuesday.
Phillip Feffer is in fourth with 20.41%, or 2,603 votes.
Hamilton, a Fairfax resident, and Litwack, a San Anselmo resident, are elected incumbents. Cassidy, of San Anselmo, is an appointed incumbent. He was given a spot on the board 18 months ago to replace Marie Henrio, who resigned. Feffer lives in Fairfax.
The district serves 1,685 students at four elementary schools and White Hill Middle School. It has an annual budget of about $30 million and about 18,330 registered voters.
