I’m a sex worker in my 80s but I won’t retire – I’ve been doing it 50 years & have it better than the young ladies

AN 80-YEAR-OLD woman has vowed to continue sex work having started when she was struggling for money almost 50 years ago.

Fiona said older women have a “better world” than the younger in her profession.

Fiona turned to sex work to escape living with her husband’s “racist” family when she first moved to Australia from Greece.

In her early 30s, she specialised in bondage and discipline while going by the name “Mistress.”

She said the younger women would look to her as their role model.

At age 80, she is now one of the most popular workers at the adult entertainment club Mature Darlings in Sydney.

The parlour is staffed by women aged 40 to 80.

“I do my one day a week. I always make sure I’m available, and that suits me fine,” Fiona told Mamamia.

“I love the clientele here. I love the girls that I work with. It’s like a social day!”

Her duties include everything from massages and girlfriend experiences to role plays and more. 

However, she said not all of her clients come to the parlour for sex and many just want someone to speak to about their problems.

She aims to help them relax and feel understood rather than focusing on being aroused by her body.

Customers are mostly captivated by the workers’ personalities, she believes. 

Fiona said the majority of people who visit the parlour are “always respectful” and don’t recognise her outside of work. 

As an older worker, there is no limit to the age of men who frequent the parlour to see her.

“We get a lot of younger gentlemen because they feel more comfortable because a lot of them haven’t had a lot of experience with sex,” she said.

“So they come along and they hope to get taught a few pointers.”

She added that others want to relive a “fantasy” if they lost their virginity to an older woman.

Fiona said women of all body shapes can attract clients as everyone is looking for something different.

She doesn’t believe that her body is perfect despite men gushing about her beauty.

“I just want to keep doing my one day a week, because I’m really happy,” she said.
