Bills unsure how long WR Keon Coleman will be out with wrist injury

0

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Wide receiver Keon Coleman did not participate in the Bills' walk-through practice Wednesday because of a wrist injury, and the team is still determining how long the rookie will be unavailable.

Coach Sean McDermott said that Coleman has not yet been ruled out for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, but that the injury also could keep him out of the lineup beyond this week.

Coleman got hurt late in Sunday's 30-27 win against the Dolphins when he got hit by former Bills safety Jordan Poyer, who was penalized for unnecessary roughness on the play.

Drafted with the first pick in the second round, Coleman has caught 22 passes for 417 yards and three touchdowns in nine games.

Everybody else on the Bills roster took part in Wednesday's walk-through. The following players were limited by injuries: receivers Amari Cooper (wrist) and Curtis Samuel (pectoral), cornerback Kaiir Elam (shoulder) and fullback Reggie Gilliam (hip).

Starting cornerback Christian Benford was a full participant after missing the game against the Dolphins with a wrist injury.
