Opelousas Police: One injured Monday in Railroad Avenue shooting

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) -- One person was injured Monday in a shooting on Railroad Avenue, according to the Opelousas Police Department.
Police said they responded to a shooting reported in the 600 block of Railroad Avenue. One person was injured by gunfire, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police said the victim was in stable condition.
"Witnesses reported seeing two suspects fleeing the scene on foot," Police said.
