Marjorie Taylor Greene: Trump win a 'major victory' for 'election deniers'

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) argued Wednesday that Donald Trump's re-election was a "major victory" for people who deny the outcome of elections.

During an interview with Real America's Voice host Steve Gruber, Greene said she hoped Trump would sign her bill to require a birth certificate or passport proving citizenship before voting in federal elections.

"I'll go further," she continued. "I'm one of those election deniers. I'm not a big fan of the voting machines. I love paper ballots."

Greene then praised her boyfriend, Brian Glenn, for his activism in the fight for "election integrity" following Trump's loss in the 2020 presidential election.

"And so I think this is a huge victory for everyone that were the early ones that stood up when it was the most unpopular thing to do," she remarked. "I know Brian did that. I did that."

"I objected to Joe Biden's electoral college votes," the lawmaker added. "So I think it's a major victory for everyone that did that."
