Lost my battens

Sometime in the past month, with the storms we've had somewhere I've lost my battens. I still have 1. Maybe the longest one. But the others are nowhere to be found. I haven't gotten to picking up my leaves yet. But not seeing them in any of the piles. Granted I haven't used them yet. Really how big of a deal is it to not have them in? Casual sailing/learning environment.
