VA Hero of the Week: Jayson Tatum Makes Unique Celtics History

In pursuit of an MVP award, Jayson Tatum is off to a very strong start for the Celtics so far this season. The forward achieved a stat line that only one other player in the franchise has, and that was Larry Bird.

In just the first seven games of the season, Tatum went off and dropped a total of 210 points, 50-plus rebounds and at least 30 assists. Bird sits just above Tatum, with a total of 216 points, 67 rebounds and 40 assists from his 1984-95 season.
