Not a bad night at all

Former Duke sensation Zion Williamson’s NBA career has been sort of up and down due to injuries and a struggle with his weight that followed those idle times, but he seems to have committed himself to a higher level of fitness and it’s paying off.

In these highlights from New Orlean’s Thursday’s loss to Cleveland, you’ll see some really cool things from Williamson.

At this point, he’s an established NBA player and the strength of his game is getting to the basket. Everyone knows he’s going to do it and no one can a) keep him from getting there or b) stop the shot when he’s about to take it. It’s just kind of inevitable.

But the coolest things about these highlights is watching one sequence where the ball gets loose and he really chases it, ultimately diving on the floor in an attempt to get it back.

Like most veterans, he has learned to not waste energy and he isn’t trying to dunk everything in sight. But he’s still doing amazing things and it’s still a blast to watch.
