Clouds will gradually increase through the overnight hours with temperatures falling in the low 40s. Winds will remain light from the southeast.
Friday will be mostly cloudy throughout the day. Temperatures will top off in the mid-50s and winds will remain from the northeast upwards to 15 MPH. Another low pressure system rolls in bringing rounds of showers and storms to Northeast Kansas by late Friday night. With this next system, an additional 1-2" of rain is possible. The most likely time period for rain will be Friday evening through early Saturday.
After drying out on Saturday afternoon, temperatures will remain slightly above average to start the week, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the lower to mid-60s. Dry conditions will persist until midweek.
