In her viral video, TikTok user Natasha Lawson (@natashalawson20) showed her followers the end result of her hack.

Showing footage of the process, she explained that she wasn’t “aiming for perfection” and just wanted “something better” than what she had.

Natasha used Frog Tape to measure out the wall on either side of her hallway corner.

To fill the area, she purchased mirrors from Ikea, available in packs of four for just £5.

She measured out the area, using a level to line up the mirrors and spacing them 10 centimetres apart.

Before she secured the mirrors to the wall, she painted the spaces in between and waited five minutes for them to dry.

The TikToker told her followers that she didn’t want to waste paint on the area behind the mirrors.

Natasha then used adhesive to attach the mirrors to the wall, placing eight on each side of the corner.

She explained that the using the paste rather than the stickers that came with the mirrors gave her the freedom to adjust the mirrors after touching them to the wall.

“If you apply them on top of a black background, honestly, the effect you get is just unreal,” she told her audience.

“Look how nice that looks, you can style it in so so many ways.”

She added that the finished project looked “a lot more neat” than she thought it would.

Her followers shared their thoughts on the DIY hack in the comments section.

“Love it!! Looks so smart!! Well done you,” wrote one impressed TikTok user.

“Fantastic job, looks great well done,” said another viewer.
