Armed militants attacked Zairon Hmar village in Manipur's Jiribam district. One woman died, and at least eight houses were burned. Villagers fled to safety during the attack. Security forces arrived and brought the situation under control. The Indigenous Tribal Leaders' Forum claims the woman was burnt alive. The Jiribam district has seen several violent incidents this year.
