Kerr booed in Boston for not playing Tatum; manages 12 person rotation

Irony abounds as Kerr has to be the first coach in modern NBA history (maybe an inaccurate hyperbole) to manage a 12 man rotation who is booed for failing to give a player minutes. Life is funny.

My words are tasty, having to eat them after roundly criticizing Dunleavy’s work in assembling a team I said didn’t fit. As narcissists don’t accept blame, I point the finger at Stackhouse. Last year, I said the Warriors had great individual defenders but a bad team defense. This year, those great individual defenders are playing together, helping at the right time, recovering quickly after help is no longer needed, and the difference between this year and last is stark. If they played like this year, they might have one 1/2 of the 24 games they lost by 5 points or less. I blame coaching, particularly Stackhouse, for this.

I scratched my head when Dunleavy added Heid to the trade, thinking "they have too many 2 guards already". My words taste good. Buddy’s hot shooting and great effort on defense have been the difference in many of the wins this season. His defense will never be confused with Jue Holiday’s, but his effort shows he is trying his best there, which is all a fan can ask. Shooting lights out, and his defensive effort, makes a tasty meal.

Finally, hats off to Andrew Wiggins. A slow start and a couple of missed layups would discourage many, but Andrew just dialed it up. His drives to the rim were jaw dropping, but his defense was even better, an absolute delight for those fans into this type of thing. When he plays to the best of his tremendous abilities, the Warriors are a championship team. That is a proven fact.
