Calderwood Primary Next up for Tickets for School
Men’s First Team player Ryan Duncan visited the school this week to present tickets, t-shirts and scarfs for the game against ‘The Pars’ as well as answer questions from the pupils on life as a professional footballer.
Ryan said: “Calderwood Primary School gave me a really warm welcome and the pupils and staff are certainly very enthusiastic about coming to the game on Saturday.”
Club partners PTS Clean have kindly provided half-time vouchers to all the schoolchildren from Calderwood to get a hot drink and snack at Hampden.
Claderwood Primary School Teacher, Mr Priess commented: “Queen’s Park Football Club have once again outdone themselves. Our Primary 7 pupils at Calderwood were delighted with the visit of Mhairi, Sean and Ryan, who have helped to create lasting and special memories for them. We can’t wait to attend the match against Dunfermline and are extremely grateful to Queen’s Park Football Club for their Tickets for Schools initiative. Come on the Spiders!”
As part of the ‘Tickets for Schools’ programme Queen’s Park’s club partners McDades Coaches will take the school party to and from the game with Queen’s Park’s Head of Commercial Kieran Koszary saying: “The ‘Tickets for Schools’ Programme has already been a success this season. Our thanks go to everyone who has been involved, sponsors, players, staff from the club and most importantly the local schools.”
