BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Much was made about the primetime showdown between LSU Football and the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night. But the drama fell short of expectations.
Though LSU pulled out a last-minute touchdown with 11 seconds on the clock, Alabama put the game away 42-13.
Garrett Nussmeier failed to score through the first three quarters. Meanwhile, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe scored four times on the ground alone.
LSU turned the ball over four times vs the Tide — two interceptions, a fumble and a turnover on downs.
