New Delhi: Pakistan’s star pacer Shaheen Afridi was spotted in pain after it seemed a dislocation injury in his left thumb during the third and final ODI against Australia in Perth. Looking at the scenario his teammate Babar Azam came to the rescue, fixing it by pulling the thumb. The thumb injury incident happened in the 26th over when Sean Abbott hit Shaheen Afridi’s ball towards midwicket. The star bowler Shaheen was at the non-striker’s end, copped a blow to his bowling thumb while trying to collect the throw in front of the stumps
While the physios took some time to come out and attend Shaheen, Babar decided to take the matter in his own hands. In a viral video, Babar was seen pulling the bowler’s thumb to ease the pain.
Even the commentators were stunned by Babar’s viral act.
