Rain chances decrease, flash flooding risk eases today

Flash flooding is possible across northern Acadiana this Sunday morning but heavy rains are starting to come to an end. Over the past 24 hours 3 to 7" inches of rain has fallen in many areas north of I-10. Radar estimates that over a foot of rain fell across northern Allen Parish.
Rain chances decrease through the day with scattered showers and storms possible in Acadiana. The Flash Flooding risk will be much lowered compared to yesterday. Otherwise, the weather stays warm, muggy, and cloudy with temperatures in the 70s to 80s.
