Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole suspended 16 rebel candidates for six years for contesting against the official candidates of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the upcoming assembly polls. Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala stated that there would be no tolerance for anti-party activities and all rebels have been officially suspended from the party.
