Soggy Sunday, but much-needed rain, clearing by Veterans Day
Low pressure tracking across the northern Great Lakes brought a much-needed soaking rain totaling upwards of an inch. The steadier rain tapered to drizzle, with a final narrow line of showers slipping through central Ohio along of a cold front.
The front will move east of Ohio after midnight, resulting in partial clearing and cooler weather, with morning readings falling back into the mid-40s.
Mostly sunny, breezy and seasonably cool weather will provide for a nice Veterans Day, with winds out of the west gusting to 20 mph.
Another cold front will bring some clouds toward evening, followed by a reinforcing push of cool air on Tuesday, with clouds breaking up in the afternoon.
High pressure builds across the Great Lakes into the Northeast through midweek, resulting in dry weather and sunshine. Another cold front will move through early Thursday with showers, followed by clearing and cool weather.
Saturday looks to be dry and mild, with showers possible on Sunday.
