Sylvester Stallone Calls Trump the 'Second George Washington' While Introducing Him at Mar-a-Lago Event
Sylvester Stallone is making it known that he’s a Donald Trump supporter and he’s even calling the president-elect the “second George Washington.”
The 78-year-old Rocky actor introduced Trump while speaking at the America First Policy Institute Gala on Thursday (November 14) at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla.
“We are in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology,” Stallone said. “Nobody in the world could’ve pulled off what he pulled off. So I’m in awe.”
Stallone compared Trump to both Jesus Christ and Rocky Balboa during his speech.

“I’ll just say this — and I mean it,” Stallone added. “When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was going to change the world. Because without him, you could imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the second George Washington. Congratulations!”
Back in 2016, Stallone said that he “loves” Donald Trump as a “character,” but wasn’t sure if that translated to “running the world.”
