“’2 hands’ shows a different side of me than what people are used to,” Tate shared in a statement. “The song captures the feeling of falling in love and how sometimes just being close to someone is all you really need. A genuine connection goes beyond needing constant reassurance or fancy things, simply being together is what matters.”
The song was written by Ryan Tedder, Lostboy and Amy Allen, while the video was directed by Bradley & Pablo, with choreography by Sean Bankhead, who Tate has been working with for the past year.
Tate‘s upcoming album So Close To What, according to a release, “represents the journey of growing up when the road ahead feels infinite and the destination increasingly elusive. It’s an introspective exploration of self-discovery, love, and searching for balance in moments of uncertainty.”
For her 2025 Miss Possessive Tour, the singer will head to South America, Europe, the Uk and North America with 50-dates starting in March through September 2025. Check out the full list of tour dates below!
Presale for tickets begins NEXT Tuesday (November 19), with general onsale taking place Friday, November 22nd at 9am local time. Head to TateMcRae.com for more details.
