Paul and Tyson were attending a weigh-in at AT&T Stadium in Las Colinas, TX, ahead of their heavily publicized boxing match streaming to Netflix on Friday when Tyson suddenly slapped Paul seemingly out of nowhere. “He hits like a b---h. After the moment quickly spread across social media, Tyson told The New York Post why he felt compelled to slap Paul. “I was in my socks and he had on shoes,” explained. “He stepped on my toe because he is a f---ing a--hole. I wanted to think it happened by accident. But now I think it may have happened on purpose. I was in a lot of pain. I had to reciprocate.”
“Jake has been poking the bear the whole time,” one of the ex-heavyweight’s reps told the outlet. “Mike slapped the s--t out of him.”
