Craig Joyce made two changes to his starting eleven following the 5-0 defeat to Celtic at New Douglas Park with Chloe Muir and Rosie McQuillan starting in place of Abby Callaghan and Jordan McLintock.
Glasgow City attempted a fast start against Queen’s Park with a well-taken header by Lisa Forrest being denied by a fantastic Lauren McGregor save.
However, The visitors would find their opener in the 11th minute courtesy of Nicole Kozlova as she got on the end of a miss-hit clearance to slot it home.
Twenty minutes in, City captain Hayley Lauder doubled her side’s advantage as she tapped home after Kozlova provided the assist through a cut back to beat the keeper.
Queen’s Park managed to soak up most of the pressure applied by the visitors whilst creating a chance of their own but the free kick sailed just over the top of the bar.
City would break the hosts’ defence again twice before the end of the half. The first goal was Katie Lockwood‘s as she tapped home a low driven cross into the danger area. With five minutes left in regulation time, Nicole Kozlova doubled her tally for the day as she also converted a cross into the box.

It was a fast start for Glasgow City in the second half as Hayley Lauder got her brace within the first two minutes of the half as she snatched at the rebound after the initial shot rattled the bar.
Nicole Kozlova had her hat-trick tied up by the 49th minute after converting an easy finish from close range.
Mairead Fulton looked set to add her name to the scoresheet but her well taken shot from range was saved comfortably by Lauren McGregor.
Queen’s Park then found a consolation in stunning fashion as Rosie McQuillian fired home a sensational strike from 40 yards to open her account for the season.
Glasgow City were denied a seventh towards the end of the match after a great goal line clearance from Ciara Bonner prevented any further change to the scoresheet.
