My only memories are the owner of the corner shop who was also a Prison Officer (he was a Sikh Gent) being investigated for beating up one of the alleged bombers. Also lots of people ignoring our next door neighbour because she was Irish (My mom and dad didn't ignore her). My old man said any Irish got a really hard time at work (he worked at Drew's Lane) and the odd beating wasn't uncommon. Also remember 'going up Town' was out of the question.
Dark times. My condolences to all the victims and their families.
