Bank of Ireland cuts fixed home mortgage rates by 0.5%

DUBLIN, Ireland: Bank of Ireland announced a 0.5 percentage point reduction across all its fixed mortgage rates, effective November 19.

This adjustment brings its rates closer to rival AIB, particularly for energy-efficient homes.

For owner-occupier properties with a Building Energy Rating (BER) of A, the four-year fixed rate will now be 3.1 percent, just above AIB's 3 percent rate for three-year fixed m
