Heartless thief robs NYC church of $3K gold-plated rose forged from 9/11 debris — but pastor prays he doesn’t wallow in jail

The suspect walked into the Church of St. Francis of Assisi on West 31st Street near Seventh Avenue around 2:30 p.m. and grabbed the rose, according to authorities and the Rev. Brian Jordan.
