Oppo has officially launched its latest flagship in the Philippines, the Find X8, priced at P54,999.

The launch marks the return of Oppo’s Find X series in the country after a four-year absence. The last Find X device to hit local shores was the Find X2, which was launched in 2020.

Oppo’s new Find X release, the Find X8, is one of the first global devices to feature MediaTek’s latest chipset, the Dimensity 9400, which reportedly boasts industry-leading AI, compute, gaming and photography performance. It also includes an Immortalis-G925 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage under the hood.

For display, the device has a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

Meanwhile, for cameras, it features a triple-rear system tuned by Hasselblad. The star of this is the 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor with an aperture of f /1.8 and optical image stabilization (OIS). Alongside it is a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and 50MP ultrawide sensor. Up front, it has a 32MP selfie sensor.

The Find X8 also has a 5630mAh battery, which supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

Other notable features include stereo speakers, 5G and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and dual SIM support.

In the Philippines, the Find X8 is available in two colorways: Space Black and Star Grey. – Rappler.com
