Two hospitalized after vehicle, motorcycle crash in West Topeka
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Two people were hospitalized in a west Topeka crash on Thursday afternoon.
A 27 News reporter at the scene said the Topeka Fire Department and Topeka Police Department (TPD) is in the area of Southwest Huntoon Street and Southwest Glendale Road on Nov. 21. A vehicle and motorcycle were involved in the crash which shut down the road. Crime scene tape surrounds the scene.
TPD said in a news release the motorcycle driver sustained life-threatening injuries, and the driver of the SUV sustained injuries. Both individuals were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police ask drivers to avoid the area and find an alternate route, because Southwest Huntoon is closed while an investigation is ongoing.
