Participating lineup in Schenectady Winter Market

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Discover Schenectady's Schenectady Winter Village is opening this Friday, November 22, bringing a holiday-themed market to the city. It will run until December 22.

The indoor and outdoor marketplace runs on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be movie showings on Friday nights, story times with Mrs. Claus on Saturday afternoons starting November 30, and craft workshops on Sunday afternoons.

The event's host, Frog Alley Brewing Co., has free parking available for all attendees. The featured vendors include:

“The new Winter Village is another exciting attraction for downtown Schenectady and the perfect complement to the holiday season and happenings, including this Saturday evening’s annual Holiday Parade,” said Todd Garofano, Executive Director of Discover Schenectady. “The patio at Frog Alley is all decked out to host this event and we hope to make this an annual tradition on lower State Street.”
