We're off to a cold start this morning in the 20s with clear skies. Winds are light and should remain light throughout the day at 5-10 mph from the north.

Plenty of sunshine is expected for the first part of our Friday before some cloud cover moves in later this afternoon. Highs will be around average for this time of year in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

After a cold Friday, we settle into a gradual warming trend for the weekend. Winds will remain from the south helping to bring in a bit of warmer air. Saturday should top out in the upper 50s and by Sunday, some low 60s look to return. This all before yet another cold front moves in heading into Monday.

It's possible a stray shower or two moves through Monday although most stay dry. The colder air will force our temperatures into the low 40s for highs and we'll struggle in those 40s through much of next week.

Our next storm system is expected to arrive just before Thanksgiving, bringing a blast of even colder air for the holiday. Precipitation is likely to return by Wednesday, primarily in the form of rain showers. However, it's still too early to rule out the possibility of a few snowflakes on Wednesday.

Thanksgiving itself should remain mostly dry as of now, but temperatures will suffer as we struggle to even get out of the upper 30s.
