Jersey Shore's Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola Opens Up About Suffering a Miscarriage Amid Her IVF Journey
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola revealed that she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage amid her IVF journey with fiance Justin May.
The 37-year-old Jersey Shore Family Vacation star detailed the pregnancy loss during the November 21 episode of the reality series.

“This has been a very long process, it’s been a lot of shots, it’s been a lot of hormones,” she said during the episode, via E News. “Just the thought of even being pregnant was such a magical moment for me, and just to have that taken away — it’s devastating for me.”
Sammi praised Justin for being “so positive and uplifting.”
“He’s so special to me, and I just am so thankful for him. He’s been by my side through this whole thing. I just love him,” she said.
The very night that she learned of her pregnancy loss, Justin surprised Sammi by proposing to her during an evening out.
“I’ve dreamt of this moment my entire life,” she said about the proposal.
Sammi previously revealed that she was freezing her eggs in late 2023. We wish her and Justin luck as they go through this difficult process.
She announced her engagement back in April 2024.
