McDonald's Unveils New McValue Menu Coming in 2025
Heading into 2025, McDonald's is hoping to attract more customers with a variety of deals and value options after sales took a nosedive following an E. coli outbreak linked to quarter-pounders, amid already all-time high prices. Its newest effort, the McValue menu, will be an all-new reimagining of the classic value menu experience.
McDonald's customers will be able to order from the McValue menu starting Jan. 7. It'll include current popular go-tos such as the newly introduced $5 Meal Deal as well as exclusive in-app offers and local food and drink deals. On top of that, the Golden Arches is introducing an all-new buy one, add one for $1 promotion on many breakfast and regular menu items.
"When it comes to value, we know there’s no one-size-fits-all," McDonald's USA president Joe Erlinger said in a statement. "We’ve worked closely with our franchisees to create a new platform that will let our customers define value on their own terms. From deals on their personal go-to order to universal favorites like the $5 Meal Deal, we’re excited to give fans more ways to save every time they visit one of our restaurants."
The $5 Meal Deal, which launched in June, has been extended through next summer and will now be a part of the McValue platform. The promotion offers the choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small French fries, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small drink for $5.
Meanwhile, the new McValue buy one, add one for $1 promo will extend to some of the most popular items on the McDonald's menu. For breakfast, this includes the Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, and Hash Browns. During lunch and dinner, you can tack on a six-piece Chicken McNuggets, Double Cheeseburger, a McChicken, or small fries.
It's all a part of McDonald's effort to meet customers where they are as many are unable to afford what used to be cheap meals. So if you're looking to start the year eating healthy, the temptation just got a little harder to overcome.
