How Amanda Knox Reacts to Her 3-Year-Old Daughter Eureka Asking About ‘Mama Going to Italy’
It seems that Amanda Knox’s three-year-old daughter, Eureka, is already asking questions about what happened to her mom in Italy.
For those who don’t know or need a refresher, Knox is a journalist who became a household name when she was wrongfully convicted for the 2007 murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher, who was a fellow exchange student living with her in Perugia. After almost four years incarcerated in Italy, she was later acquitted by the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation in 2015.
Since then, she’s become a mother, a wife, and an author. However, her young daughter is already asking about what happened during her time in Italy.
She revealed via UsMagazine that her daughter Eureka is asking questions about what happened, and Knox also talked about how she navigates this sensitive subject.
“She likes it when I tell her a story so she’ll be like, ‘Tell me a story about Bluey, tell me a story about the Little Mermaid’ — sometimes she asks me to ‘Tell the story of Mama going to Italy,” she said. “I just have to say, ‘Well, Mama went to Italy and something really, really bad happened — someone hurt her friend and then Mama was hurt too.’”
She added, “And my daughter says ‘why?’ and I’m like ‘I don’t know.”
For those who don’t know, Knox married author Christopher Robinson back in early 2020 after meeting nearly a decade prior.
Since then, they’ve welcomed a daughter named Eureka Muse, born in Oct 2021, and a son named Echo, born in Sept 2023.
