Max Verstappen Wins Formula 1 Driver Championship With Las Vegas Grand Prix Finish

Max Vertsappen is a four time F1 champion!

The 27-year-old Dutch driver took fifth place at the 2024 Las Vegas Formula 1 Grand Prix on Saturday night (November 23), securing his win for this years driver championship.

George Russell took first place, while his teammate Lewis Hamilton took second, for a Mercedes double podium. Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz picked up third, with his teammate, Charles Leclerc, in fourth.

Prior to the race, with only three grands prix left this season, Max just needed to finish Vegas in a higher position than his rival Lando Norris.

At the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Lando finished in sixth place.

With two more races, Lando team, McLaren, is looking to clinch their first constructor championship since 1998, with Ferrari close behind in second and Max’s Red Bull in third.

Congratulations to Max Verstappen on his fourth championship title win!!

He now joins a coveted list of drivers with four or more championship wins, which includes Lewis Hamilton , Michael Schumacher, Juan Manuel Fangio , Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel.
