Man fighting for life after stabbing on Westminster Bridge

Westminster Bridge has been closed this morning after a stabbing, which left a man fighting for his life.

Police were called around 10.45am today after a fight reportedly broke out on the central London bridge.

The man who was stabbed is in critical condition, according to the London Ambulance Service.

London’s Air Ambulance attended to the scene and took the man to hospital.

Four people have since been arrested – three for attempted murder and one for affray.

Two of the suspects have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Metropolitan Police have been contacted for comment.
