Less than a year after Warner Bros.' Dune: Part Two was released, a prequel series has arrived on HBO. Whether you're a diehard Dune fan or new to the franchise, we'll show you where to watch Dune: Prophecy.
The six-episode miniseries flashes back 10,000 years prior to the events of Dune and tracks the origin of the Bene Gesserit. Emily Watson and Olivia Williams star as Valya and Tula Harkonnen, the sisters behind the establishment of the Bene Gesserit. The series is set in the sci-fi world of Frank Herbert's Dune, first introduced in written form in the '60s. It's inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson's 2012 novel Sisterhood of Dune. Diane Ademu-John and Alison Schapker, the latter of whom also serves as showrunner, developed the series.
Below, we've compiled everything you need to know about tuning into the series. You can also see the trailer and the episode release schedule for the show, which is slated to wrap up in December.

How to watch Dune: Prophecy from anywhere
Traveling away from home and hoping to keep up with the series while abroad? You can access your usual subscriptions with the help of a VPN, or virtual private network, which lets you change your electronic device's location and use your go-to websites and apps just like you would back home. Since the streaming options we've recommended require country-specific payment methods, this will work best for people who are just traveling away from home.
ExpressVPN is our go-to VPN recommendation. It's easy to use and has a 30-day money-back guarantee. Subscriptions start at $12.95/month, but there are some solid savings if you sign up for a one or two-year contract right now. You can read more in our ExpressVPN review, which breaks down all of the service's perks.
