Group empowers Akwa Ibom market women with N18m grant

A Non-Governmental Organisation under the auspices of Excellence, Community Education Welfare Scheme, in collocation with the Nka Uforo Iban Washington DC, said it had empowered a total of 180 market women across nine Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State with a grant of N100, 000 each to upscale their businesses and improve their livelihood.
