Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that Indian Railways recruited five lakh employees in the past decade, surpassing the previous decade's 4.4 lakh recruitments. He highlighted the introduction of an annual recruitment calendar and praised PM Modi's respect for the Constitution. Vaishnaw also mentioned the production of 12,000 general coaches during a national convention in Nagpur.
