Police identify pedestrian killed in east Topeka crash

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Police Department (TPD) has identified a man who died last week after being hit by a vehicle.
Police have identified the victim as Emmett Leatherwood, 72, of Topeka. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Topeka police were called around 6 p.m. on Nov. 20 to the 1900 block of Southeast Adams regarding reports of an injury crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The man was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
