Showrunner John Shiban has exited the series and producers have not yet found another person to take over the role, so original showrunner Matt Olmstead is stepping in to help with the final few episodes of the season.

Sources told TVLine that production briefly paused, but “it is up and running again.”

A premiere date for season five has not yet been announced, but we know it will consist of 10 episodes. John was the sixth showrunner to leave Organized Crime. He was appointed as showrunner ahead of season four.

One of the stars of Organized Crime was promoted to series regular for the next season.
