'It's going to be hard': New Iberia man loses everything in house fire

IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- Arthur Thibeaux is a New Iberia resident who recently lost everything he had in a house fire. Now he is asking for help from the community to get back on his feet.
"I ain't got nothin', man. Please. If you can hear me, please help me. I need some help," Thibeaux said.
Thibeaux said he left his house to do yard work for one hour. He got a call from his neighbors saying his house was on fire.
"They had about four or five fire trucks here putting my fire out. Then I lost everything," Thibeaux said.
Thibeaux said he has lived in the house for more than 30 years. Having to start over for the first time since he was 17 years old, he does not know where to begin.
"It's going to be hard for me to come up now man. I ain't ever going to replace all that," he said.
Thibeaux and his family are working on a GoFundMe page to help him get through everything.
