One dead in shooting near Columbus elementary school
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead after a shooting in the Weinland Park section of Columbus Monday night.
According to a Columbus police dispatcher, the shooting happened on the 1200 block of North Fourth Street at approximately 8:29 p.m. near Weinland Park Elementary School.
The victim was pronounced dead at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at 9:10 p.m.
There is no information on what led to the shooting or any suspect information available at this time.
